This policy describes the cookies and similar browser storage technologies used on www.kocalift.com, based on a technical review of the site.
Summary
The site does not set cookies for visitors. No analytics, advertising, marketing, social media or other third-party cookies or tracking technologies are used. For this reason there is no cookie consent or preference window; only an information bar is shown at the bottom of the page. The word “cookies” in that bar is used in the general sense of cookies and similar browser storage technologies: the site sets no cookies for visitors; only the browser session storage (sessionStorage) entries listed below are used.
Browser storage inventory
Visitors
- klIntro — type: browser session storage (sessionStorage), first party. Value: "1". Purpose: prevents the intro animation from replaying on every page in the same tab. Duration: deleted automatically when the tab or browser is closed. It is never sent to the server and contains nothing that identifies you; it is not personal data.
- klCookieNotice — type: browser session storage (sessionStorage), first party. Value: "1". Purpose: once the information bar at the bottom of the page is closed with "OK", it is not shown again in the same session. Duration: deleted automatically when the tab or browser is closed. It is never sent to the server and contains nothing that identifies you; it is not personal data. It is not a consent record.
Admin panel (authorised staff only)
- kl_admin — type: first-party cookie; HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Strict. Purpose: keeps a signed-in admin user's session (authentication). Duration: up to 7 days; ends on the server after 12 hours of inactivity and is deleted on sign-out. It is set only in the browser of a person who signs in to the panel, at their request, and is strictly necessary for that service. It is never set for site visitors.
Third parties
No content is loaded from third-party servers when our pages open. If you follow a link to Google Maps or social media (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn), that site's own cookie policy applies.
Managing your preferences
You can view, delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking session storage does not affect the use of the site; the intro animation may simply replay and the information bar may reappear.
Changes
If an analytics, map, video or similar third-party service is added, this policy will be updated and, where required, such services will not run without your explicit consent.
